Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDTI) is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of heavy duty diesel and light duty vehicle emissions control systems and products to major automakers and retrofitters. We operate in two primary divisions: our Heavy Duty Diesel Systems division, which specializes in the design and maintenance of verified exhaust emission control solutions, and our Catalyst division, which produces catalyst formulations to reduce emissions from gasoline, diesel and natural gas combustion engines. As a cleantech company, we utilize our proprietary patented Mixed Phase Catalyst (MPC®) technology, as well as our ARIS® selective catalytic reduction, Platinum Plus® fuel-borne catalyst, and other technologies to provide high-value sustainable solutions to reduce emissions and lower the carbon intensity of on- and off-road engine applications.
The Company was founded in 1995 and is incorporated in the state of Delaware. On October 15, 2010, Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. and Catalytic Solutions, Inc. merged. For accounting purposes the Companys historical financials are those of Catalytic Solutions, Inc.

On Friday, October 15, 2010, Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. ("Clean Diesel") consummated its acquisition of Catalytic Solutions, Inc. ("CSI"). Clean Diesel appointed American Stock Transfer & Trust Company to serve as Exchange Agent. The Exchange Agent has mailed two versions of a letter of transmittal required for the exchange of certificates - one to those Clean Diesel stockholders of record who were Clean Diesel stockholders prior to the October 15 acquisition of CSI, and a second version to the former shareholders of record of CSI.
